Vienna Transitional Kitchen

When creating this space, the MJA team went above and beyond, removing an old window, and making a new opening for a new 7-foot tall French door and window. The kitchen had previously been more closed-in by two built-in pantries, and a wall between the kitchen and the dining room. The team not only removed that wall, but also the one between the living room and the foyer, and added a column. Furthermore, they relocated the opening between the kitchen and the foyer, and the one between the living and dining rooms. All of these changes brought in natural light, which enhances the natural beauty of the space. 

Custom frameless, blind dado wood cabinetry features flat panel Montego 275 doors painted in matte Frosty White, and the drawers are paneled to match, with Jeffrey Alexander Sutton pulls in matte black. The cabinets feature two Super Susans, a pull-out can rack, double pull-out waste bins, rollout shelves, and a hutch with adjustable shelves.  The drawers are hardwood dovetail construction, with under-mount full-extension soft-close hinges. The stunning kitchen island is finished in Island Sea Serpent, with polished Himalayan White countertops. 

A Wolf range top, Zephyr Titan hood, two KitchenAid ovens, a Sharp drawer microwave, and a KitchenAid refrigerator ensure that this client is ready to create culinary magic in this beautiful and functional kitchen.
